Description

We will guide you through a discourse to deepen the measures and techniques in the context of EN 5012x. We highlight the safety requirements at various levels of requirement engineering and you create an exemplary FTA model with tool support. You will receive an introduction to FMECA as an analytical technique. In addition, we develop communication protocols with regard to decentralized systems in accordance with the standards DIN EN 50159, IEC 62443 and DIN EN 61784, taking into account residual error probabilities and their determination. We focus our attention on security features in communication and the architecture of networks.

Here we explain the main differences between the EN 5012x and EN 61508 standards. We present the facts of the benefits and necessity of reviews and show you how to conduct reviews “the right way”. On the last day, we explain when and how the “proven in use” method can be used for inventory systems to detect signs of systematic design flaws. In doing so, we look at the hurdles in the verification process and highlight the hurdles and showstoppers in validation.
