Description

In this training, the focus is on practice and thus on the application of your previously learned knowledge. With you, we want to take a closer look at and discuss the individual roles in project work. You will also learn proper source documentation, security requirements, and hazard control methodologies for a wide variety of projects. In addition, you will independently prepare a technical safety report based on a technical example.

This module concludes with the Rail Safety Engineer examination.

Practical applications – the way to safety certification

This hands-on training is about applying what you have learned from the previously attended training sessions. The goal is to independently provide proof of safety based on a technical safety report.

Contents:

  • Working in a team
  • Dos and Don`ts
  • Dealing with sources/documents
  • Creation of a system design concept
  • Apply risk analysis and hazard log
  • Workshops / Role Exercises
  • Presentation of the design requirements
  • Determination of the applicable standards and approval conditions
  • Consolidation of available safety information, such as vehicle analysis, safety requirements from operations, etc.
  • Developing the safety requirements, methodologies for hazard control based on real objects (safety computer and door system).
  • Explanation of the test and examination

For whom:

Ideal for engineering staff and safety managers who already have all the prior knowledge and exams from each area and who need to master the daily handling of safety-related information and methodologies.
