Description

This training teaches comprehensive knowledge of the assessment and regulatory approval process in Germany and other European countries, under consideration of the guidelines on interoperability (TSI and NoBo). Individual technical specifications for interoperability establish which properties railway subsystems must exhibit in order to ensure a continually usable railway system throughout Europe. This module also includes common methods for risk evaluation and assessment (CSM), and safety guidelines for rail vehicles (SIRF).

This training teaches knowledge of the assessment and regulatory approval process in Germany and other European countries, and cooperation between different systems and technologies.

  • Guideline on interoperability
  • Technical specification for interoperability (TSI and NoBo)
  • Trans-European interoperability regulation (TEIV)
  • Common safety method for risk evaluation and assessment (CSM)
  • Cross Acceptance
  • Essential German laws in the railroad sector, e.g. AEG and EBO
  • Commissioning Authorization Ordinance (EIGV)
  • Actors in the process (NoBo, DeBo, AsBo, ERA, NSA).
  • Requirements Capture
  • Safety Regulation Vehicle (SIRF))
  • Review and approval process in Germany and other European countries
